JOURNEY TOGETHER

10906171_1029020960447375_2061271603530413669_nTo be a wife or husband or in a relationship and making an oath to do so, means to stay side by side while traveling through life together. It is only difficult to be separated or swept away when two people are agreed that life is only life – to me it means marriage is only marriage – when two are agreed to go through life side by side.

It is beautiful to see two birds flying side by side, and it is easier to row with two people in a boat than just one. Embrace your marriage as a beautiful thing. Embrace the truth that two people are better than going through life alone.

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil.Β For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!Β Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand himβ€”a threefold cord is not quickly broken. – Ecc. 4:9-12

Are you in agreement with your spouse?

Have a lovely Sunday.

  1. I’m back πŸ™‚ It’s working through the differences and challenges that makes a marriage stronger. I never want to be a ‘yes’ person – I am me as much as I am a partner, a lover, a friend, a wife….

  2. This is perfect πŸ™‚ You could not have said it better. Marriage is all about accepting your positives and negatives and moving along further on the same path. There is sure to be both good days and bad days, but it is upto the partners to stick through it and make the ride worthwhile πŸ™‚
