I got nominated by bigandpinkytoes to participate in the quote challenge, and since I am already participating in the AtoZChallenge, I decided to bring both challenges together. Take a look at her post here.
My theme for the month is centered on ‘THE WOMAN’. With this quote challenge, I want to acknowledge a woman I have been immensely inspired from. Her name is MAYA ANGELOU. Continue reading Day 1 of the 3 Day Quote Challenge POUR OUT YOUR HEART

In response to the A to Z Challenge
The sun was radiant, all-watching eye, its light creeping into every corner, bathing the whole world in a warm glow.
The mini van cruised down a twisting road, grassy, forest green hills looming over the mountainous drive. An endless expanse of turquoise wonder, shimmering a liquid gold, stretched towards the distant horizon. The grasses looked like yarn weaved carpets and the birds hopping from tree to tree chanting in the distance. The countryside view of Velbert in Germany was breathtaking.

As I woke up to April 1st, my thoughts kept racing between the type of vain joke I intended to carry out this year and the first post for the A-Z challenge. Finally settling down to give my husband a terrible scare, a loud bang was heard. I rushed, flung the quilt covers and was already sprinting before I knew it. Crying, Moaning, Sobbing were all the sounds I could hear, not even the chippings of the birds or the explosive blasts from the nearby company could stifle the sounds. Continue reading ABUSED AGAIN
She was standing there, trembling. Her feet right on the edge, wondering how deep the fall might be. Her heart was racing. She was determined. She started controlling her breath, it was something they taught her. One of the few good things she got out of it.

She checked again. It has to be in there! It was the third time she went through her purse.
“I really need to see your passport!”
She could hear how impatient he was getting. It has to be in here. It was when she left. And now it seemed to have disappeared. Continue reading REGRET
To be a wife or husband or in a relationship and making an oath to do so, means to stay side by side while traveling through life together. It is only difficult to be separated or swept away when two people are agreed that life is only life – to me it means marriage is only marriage – when two are agreed to go through life side by side.
It is beautiful to see two birds flying side by side, and it is easier to row with two people in a boat than just one. Embrace your marriage as a beautiful thing. Embrace the truth that two people are better than going through life alone.
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken. – Ecc. 4:9-12
Are you in agreement with your spouse?
Have a lovely Sunday.
